Whether reaching agreement over a landscaping contract or attacking a problem directly with plunger in hand, these faithful members donate their time, labor, and expertise to keep the church intact and comfortable—a major contribution to the church’s larger mission.

Obviously, a church on over four acres and with buildings and equipment worth over a million dollars is going to require maintenance and repairs. The Property and Grounds Ministry, led by the Junior Warden, is the oversight committee for these concerns.

While some members have contracting or engineering backgrounds, the most important qualification seems to be an infinite capacity to respond to issues which range from the catastrophic to the trivial, from a major air conditioning collapse or leaking roof to a burned out light bulb in a storage closet.
