We are glad you are here
Walking into a church for the first time, or for the first time in a long time, takes courage. You may wonder whether you'll know the words, whether you'll be able to follow along, whether there's really a place here for you.
Bring all of that with you.
You don't need to arrive as an expert. You only need to arrive.

What to Expect on Sunday
Our principal service is Holy Eucharist at 9:30 AM, and lasts about an hour following the pattern of worship found in the Book of Common Prayer. Scripture is read, prayers are offered, and we gather at the altar to receive Communion together.
You'll notice some standing, sitting, and kneeling throughout the service. These are simply ways our bodies join in prayer, not tests to pass. Many people follow the lead of those around them, and there's no expectation that you'll know every word or gesture right away.
All baptized Christians are warmly invited to receive Communion. If you'd rather not, you're welcome to come forward for a blessing instead, or simply remain in your seat. However you participate, you belong here.
After the service, we gather for coffee hour, a chance to relax and get to know one another.
Worship at Saint Mary's blends reverence with warmth. It is rooted in tradition, but it is also a place where children's voices, quiet prayers, and shared peace all have a home.

Questions Everyone Asks (So You Don't Have To)
What should I wear?
Whatever you're comfortable in. On any given Sunday you'll see everything from Sunday best to jeans and sneakers.
God is far more interested in you than in your wardrobe, and so are we.

What about my kids?
Children are fully welcome in worship at Saint Mary's, wiggles and all. The sound of kids in church isn't a distraction to us. It's the sound of the future of the Church, and we love hearing it. If your little one needs a moment to reset, you're free to step out and come back. No one will bat an eye.
Will I be singled out as a visitor?
No. We won't ask you to stand up, raise your hand, or introduce yourself to the whole room. You're welcome to slip in, worship, and slip out if that's what you need. And if you'd like to connect, we'd love that too. The pace is entirely yours.
I haven't been to church in years. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Some of us are lifelong Episcopalians. Some of us came from other traditions. Some of us spent a long time away and weren't sure we'd ever come back. Wherever you're starting from, that's exactly the right place to start.
A Word from Our Priest

Hi, I'm Fr. CJ.
If you're reading this page, there's a good chance you're thinking about visiting, and maybe feeling a little unsure about it. I understand.
Walking through a new church door is no small thing. So let me make you one promise: at Saint Mary's, you will be received as a gift, not sized up as a prospect.
Come with your faith, your questions, your doubts, or all three at once. There's room at this table for every bit of it.
I'd love to meet you. Find me after the service, or send a note through the form below, and I'll write you back personally.
Pax, Fr. CJ Priest-in-Charge
