Saint Mary's is proud to partner with two of our neighborhood schools, Leaphart Elementary and Seven Oaks Elementary. Each one is home to around 500 students and nearly 100 teachers and staff, and we have come to love them as part of our own extended community.
We support these schools in simple, practical ways throughout the year: gathering school supplies, donating books, and sending along treats to let teachers know they are seen and appreciated. And at Christmas, we work hand in hand with the schools' guidance counselors and social workers on our Angel Tree project, providing gifts for children who might otherwise go without.
None of this happens without willing hands. Every one of these efforts depends on volunteers who give their time and care, and there is always room for more. If your heart is drawn to children and teachers right here in our own backyard, we would love to have you join us.
